It was an honour to kick off proceedings today at the inaugural Limerick Lifelong Learning Festival with a talk on using your brain to beat addiction. The festival which runs until the 19th June focusses on the benefits of lifelong learning, promoting and celebrating learning in all its forms.

Festival Co-ordinator, Yvonne Lane believes that the week-long festivities offers something for everyone and looking through the list of demonstrations, tours, plays, performances, workshops, information sessions and opportunities on the programme listing, I would have to agree!
